Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla., Conducts Oil Spill Mapping Video

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. ? Lt. Cmdr. John Mixson, a C-130 pilot stationed at Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla., explains the mission he and his crew executed June 8, 2010. Mixson and his aircrew conducted oil spill mapping over the Gulf of Mexico about 200 miles west of Clearwater in support of the Deepwater Horizon/BP oil spill response. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration personnel were on board and were in radio communication with other NOAA personnel on the research vessel Walton Smith to participate in the mapping. The new high def ...
The new high def video shows the cut pipe,just below the cut is a standard oil industry bolt on flange connecting the pipe to the BOP, Now if they can not simply unbolt that short section of cut pipe and bolt on a new open valve and after its bolted on close the new valve,if they can not do something that simple then we have no business drilling in that deep of water.I? bet they CAN so why are they NOT??
